May 2007 - The Network Professional Association (NPA) recognizes six award winners as the Association completes its sixth annual Awards for Professionalism. The formal Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday May 24th from 12:15 - 1:00pm, in the Mandalay J Room in the Mandalay Bay Hotel at the Interop Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. December, 2005 - The NPA Board of Directors met by conference call on December 13, 2005. Items discussed included the Enterprise Partnership with myStaffingTEAM.com and their proposal to offer the NPA membership with a new updated Job Board. The effective date is mid January, 2006. The deadline for articles for the January 2006 newsletter is December 15. The NPA National Office will collect the articles and coordinate the layout with a publisher and editor. Membership mailing sent on December 5. This included information on the benefits, programs and sponsors, along with membership renewal opportunities.


December, 2005 - The next Dayton Area Chapter meeting of the Network Professional Association (NPA) is scheduled for December 8, 2005.


November, 2005 - Columbus , OH - The NPA Chapters held their quarterly Chapter Leader's Forum Meeting on October 12, 2005 . The meeting again proved successful with three Chapter Leader's present. The purpose of the Chapter Leader's Meeting is for the leaders to exchange ideas, goals and advice on how to hold a successful chapter meeting. Representatives from the San Diego , Dayton and Washington/DC Metro Area Chapters were present lending their wisdom and past experiences on productive meetings. November, 2005- Columbus, OH - The NPA Board of Directors conducted their monthly meeting on November 15, 2005.   Topics included: the newly released and updated Certified Network Professional Program - Complete details on the CNP program can be located on the CNP website at www.CNP.org;  Recognition of our hard working and successful chapter leaders. Request for volunteers to serve as copy editor for the NPA newsletter.  Deadline for newsletter articles and advertisements is December 15, 2005.  Donations will be requested for Adobe Professional to assist in the layout of the newsletter.  2006 budget and long term planning are scheduled for the next meeting.


The next Dayton Area Chapter meating of the Network Professional Association (NPA) is scheduled for November 3, 2005.

February, 2005 – Columbus, OH – Awards for Professionalism nomination form now available online or at the NPA Business Office. The deadline for entries is April 18, 2005. Enter yourself or a colleague into one of the six categories that will be given out at the fourth annual Awards for Professionalism in Las Vegas on May 5, 2005 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Nominations are accepted for any individual who has upheld their role in the computing industry.
