This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Michael Palumbo.
Michael Palumbo is technologist who is passionate about artificial intelligence and disruptive innovation. He�s an advocate for digital transformation at Rolls-Royce, a historic industrial brand, where he teaches and motivates practitioners to spur culture change, and educates managers to help transform business models.
Michael joined Rolls-Royce after receiving his MS in Astronautics & Aeronautics from Purdue University. His research at the Rolls-Royce High Mach University Technology Centre studied the effects of thermoacoustic oscillations of supercritical fluids in compact heat exchangers. While at Rolls-Royce, he discovered a passion for data and has been addicted ever since. He has developed a variety of skills in machine learning, data engineering, solution architecture, and application development. Several of his projects have been firsts for Rolls-Royce in the digital space, including pioneering the application of the cloud and machine learning.
