Komal Kaul is a seasoned philanthropist and development strategist with a profound background in science and biotechnology. Over the past decade, she has been at the forefront of leading fundraising and development initiatives for esteemed non-profits in the Washington D.C. metro area and India. Specializing in organizing impactful events, she has successfully orchestrated major fundraisers for renowned educational institutions such as the Landon School and Sidwell Friends School, alongside supporting a residential school for underprivileged girls in Bangalore, India. As the Founder and Executive Officer of the Sam India Project, Komal is dedicated to reducing acute malnutrition in India, showcasing her commitment to global child welfare.
In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Komal is a distinguished advisor, mentor and thought leader, recognized for her potential to enable impactful change. Currently serving as the Chair of the impact network, People Action, in YPO, she previously held the position of co-chair for the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce, DMV Tristate Chapter, where she was instrumental in overseeing all operations and growth. Komal is also the Co-Founder of Isotonik Solutions, an Edtech company, and has been acknowledged as a finalist in the XPRIZE Rapid Reskilling Global Competition. With a Masters in Physics from the University of Kanpur, India, and a Masters in Bio-Technology from the University of Maryland, her diverse expertise and unwavering passion make her a driving force in creating impactful solutions for causes that improve the human condition worldwide.
