Arun Shroff: Founder/CEO of Xtend.AI; Co-founder, CTO at Medindia.net; Director of Technology & Innovation at STAR Associates, USA and Topic Lead and contributor at the ITU/WHO Focus Group on AI for Health

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Arun Shroff.

Arun Shroff is founder/CEO of Xtend.AI, a startup using AI to solve global health challenges in health and other domains. Arun is a co-founder and CTO at Medindia.net, a leading health website and application provider. He is also Director of Technology & Innovation at STAR Associates, USA, providing strategic and advisory services to early stage technology companies in AI, Robotics, blockchain, and health. In addition, Arun is a topic lead and contributor at the ITU/WHO Focus Group on AI for Health � an initiative for evaluating and benchmarking AI and creating a global community on AI for health. Arun has been an invited speaker and expert on AI and technology at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, at the ITU/WHO, at Apollo Hospitals, IIT Madras, and other conferences.

Arun also volunteers with several non-profits, including MOHAN USA (where he is a founding trustee and an advisor to MOHAN Foundation India), promoting ethical organ donation and at IIMPACT, an NGO for educating girl children in India's poorest villages.

Arun has as a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad, and M.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University, and certifications in AI and /Deep Learning.
