About NPA: Leadership

Chris A, Quintanilla, British Columbia, Canada
Chief Technology Officer, Serres Incorporated
Fairfax, Virginia

- 2009 -

I have worked as a professional in the network computing industry for over twelve years and have had the privilege of being involved with the Network Professional Association for over nine years. During this time, I have worked with many types of organizations, ranging from small family-owned businesses, to law enforcement and government, to large corporations. Regardless of size or scope, all organizations rely on technology, and by extension, those professionals who manage and support it. Due to my varied experience, I have learned to become a better networking professional, not only in terms of technical ability, but also in terms of ethical decision making and leadership capabilities. I am looking forward to continuing to grow as I continue to work in this field.

Over the last several years, I have taken the opportunity to work with organizations like the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Goodwill Industries of Delaware to volunteer my skills, talents and experience as often as possible. The Network Professional Association is an excellent organization that has the potential to serve as a leader in the technology industry. I am looking forward to becoming involved with the NPA as a Board Member. My focus will be on furthering the mission of the NPA by increasing awareness about the organization, maximizing the value of membership, and being available as a resource to help enhance communications between the organization, its stakeholders and the community at large.
